Simple - just email in your logo together with the dimensions required and the quantity you're thinking of ordering (minimum order quantities are shown on each product page). We will reply to your email with our quotation for your particular product and the approximate production time. If you're happy to proceed, simply reply to the quote email specifying the delivery address and the invoice address, if different. We will send you a proforma invoice by email that must be paid before we begin work on your order. A delay in paying for your invoice will delay artwork and production so please ensure that this is dealt with on receipt to avoid disappointment.
Once you've approved the artwork, mould production will get underway and, if time permits, a photo of the finished product will be sent to you for final approval before mass production. It's important to note that design changes at this stage will require new moulds to be produced at additional cost and will add several additional days onto the whole process.
Production times are approximately 3-4 weeks from ordering (depending on the product), including mould production. If you are in a real hurry, we may be able to turn these around in about 2-3 weeks by bypassing your approval of the product sample photo (this has to be done at your own risk) - please contact us ASAP and let us know what you are looking for. Generic shapes (eg a circle, rectangle or square) with simpler logos are generally a bit quicker to produce.
We send all orders out by DHL - we can track shipments from our door to yours, so any delivery problems can be resolved quickly. Samples are sent out by first class post.
We can handle most artwork as long as it is a reasonable resolution (eg 300dpi). If you are not sure, send it in and we will let you know! If it is not good enough to produce a mould, the chances are someone in your organisation will have a good copy, it's just a case of tracking it down. We CANNOT accept artwork in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel or Publisher as image quality is too low in these file types.
We accept payments by BACS, most major credit and debit cards and cheques (payable to Acoo Review Ltd). If you send a cheque, please allow time for this to clear. Details of how to pay will be displayed at the bottom of your invoice.
Our payment terms are strictly proforma (payment in advance of production) on the first few orders placed with us. 30 day credit terms may then be extended for some repeat customers (subject to application and a credit check).
Yes - producing promotional rubber products in smaller quantities becomes prohibitively expensive and so we have a minimum order quantity for each product. On product pages where prices are indicated, the lowest quantity in the pricing table is the minimum order quantity. Please note that the minimum order quantities or an a per design basis - in other words if you have multiple designs, you would then need to order that quantity for each design (a separate customised mould would need to be produced for each different design). The only way that this can be relaxed is if you have one design but simply want colours to be changed. In this case we can accept different quantities but there will be a surcharge for each design as the machines need to be setup for each colour change.
We can only produce a custom sample for you as part of an order. We normally send a photograph but can arrange to send you a physical sample if required. Depending on the urgency, this sample may need to be sent separately by courier from our manufacturer, in which case the cost of delivery will be included on your invoice. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery of the physical sample. If you decide not to proceed to mass production after a mould and sample has been produced, we will invoice you for the initial setup, labour and where applicable, courier costs (usually this totals between £100-£150 + VAT per design). Please also note that design changes made after a physical sample has been produced will require additional moulds to be constructed at additional cost.
We're always happy to send out samples of our work to genuine business customers, of course. Simply email us with details of the product you would like to see and your FULL business address (please include postcode) and we'll get a generic sample in the post for you.
Our factory strives to produce rubber products that are as close to your artwork is possible, however minor variations may be necessary, depending on the design. Please note that due to the way in which these products are manufactured, sharp points and corners within your design can prove difficult to reproduce when the design is not embossed.
Small colour variations
can also occur in certain parts of a design during moulding. This is more common where artwork is quite intricate (these differences
are usually small features (~1-2mm across) but if you don't think you can live with these then it's better to simplify your design).
Most of the products featured are manufactured in China. Unlike many of our competitors, we deal directly with a small number of trusted manufacturers (and have done for many years now), cutting out layers of middlemen, so you can be safe in the knowledge that product quality is as high as it can be. Moreover, we always pay our suppliers a fair price to help stamp out sweat shops.
Our products are moulded, not printed so we have to work in spot colours only. Unfortunately this means that we cannot produce full colour rubber products. This also means that logos with shading and beveling effects cannot be reproduced. With your lovely design however, we think our products look better!
Our products are not toys and due to small parts are not intended for children (these present a choking hazard). PVC products designed for younger children (either toys or where there is a risk of children putting products in their mouths) are required to adhere to EN71 standards as well as to have acceptably low levels of pthalates. We insist our factories use the safer, low-phthalate PVC in all of our [non-silicone] products. If you plan to produce products that are child-friendly, you must tell us in advance of placing an order. You can then authorise our factory to have your products tested by an independent laboratory if necessary (we normally recommend SGS or Intertek). There will be an additional cost to you for this, which will depend on the nature of the product you want and the level of testing required (e.g. for your CE self-certification). As a guide, materials testing in a laboratory may be several hundred pounds. The unit prices and minimum order quantities indicated on our products pages will not apply in such cases. Please contact us for more information.
